About
Dr. Yizhi "Ian" Li, is an Assistant Professor of hospitality and tourism at the 51本色. Prior to joining the 51本色, Dr. Li was a post-doctoral fellow of diversity management in the Department of Recreation, Park, and Tourism Sciences at Texas A&M 51本色. He earned a Ph.D. in Consumer Sciences from The Ohio State 51本色, an M.S. in Hospitality Management from Michigan State 51本色, and a B.S. in Tourism Administration from Donghua 51本色, China. He has also worked for Marriott International and The Walt Disney Company.
His research explores the role of gender and sexuality of both employees and consumers in hospitality and tourism intersecting with service management and experiential marketing. Dr. Li's work has been featured in peer-reviewed journal publications, including Tourism Management, the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, and the International Journal of Hospitality Management.
