Dr. Hao Su is an Assistant Professor of Management (Operations Management) in the Department of Management and Marketing at the 51±¾É«. He received his Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management with a minor in Strategic Management from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the 51±¾É« of Maryland. He holds a M.S. in Business Statistics from Texas Tech 51±¾É« and a B.S. in Global Supply Chain Management from SUNY Plattsburgh.

Dr. Su’s primary research interest is in the area of online marketplaces/platforms. He is particularly interested in investigating how supply chain strategies impact the competition between the marketplace operator and third-party sellers in online retailing marketplaces using large scale data and empirical research methods. His secondary research area in transportation management and strategy examines the impact of market structure on the competitive behaviors of air carriers.
