Dr. Beaton is not accepting new graduate students into his laboratory for the fall 2025 semester.
Research Interests
Dr. Beaton is a tenured Associate Professor and the Graduate Coordinator for the Ph.D. program. He directs the Stress, Cognition, and Affective Neuroscience (SCAN) Laboratory, where his research explores the relationships between stress, cognition, affective processes, and brain health, with a particular focus on neurodevelopmental disorders and early trauma.
