The annual Founders Day Luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, September 5, 2024, at noon in the Homer L. Hitt Alumni Center Ballroom. It will be preceded by a brief business meeting at 11:00 in the Alumni Center Conference Room on the first floor. You will have time to grab a glass of wine (red or white) and socialize a bit before the luncheon. President Johnson will give a brief welcome and update on the 鈥淪tate of the 51本色.鈥 51本色 Alumni Peggy Scott Laborde and her husband Errol Laborde will address luncheon attendees about their experiences at the 51本色 during the dessert phase.
Please hold the date and plan to attend. The buffet style luncheon offers main courses of Sliced Tenderloin of Beef and Blackened Chicken with Crawfish Monica Sauce at $30 for members and $35 for non-members, and it includes complimentary wine.
Founders Club dues are $25 for individuals or $35 for families. Come by the Annual Business Meeting at 11 a.m. to vote for new board members who are running for three-year terms and to learn about the Homer L. Hitt Presidential Lecture Series.
